Q: How do I configure my EMail client to work with DirecPath EMail?
A:

·  If you choose to utilize a POP3 or IMAP Email client, you must first activiate POP3 or IMAP via the webmail interface by following this process:

Log into WebMail at http://mail.direcpath.tv

  • Click Settings at the top of any mail page.
  • Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP in the orange Mail Settings box.
  • Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
  • Select Enable IMAP if you choose to use this (stores messages on server)
  • Click Save Changes

After activating POP3 and or IMAP functionality, you must now configure your Email client.   General EMail client configuration Settings are as follows:

  • Username/Account Name:                    [user]@direcpath.tv
  • EMail Address:                                         [user]@direcpath.tv
  • Password:                                                 [Your Password]

  • Outgoing SMTP SSL Port:                      465
  • Incoming POP3 requires SSL:             YES
